Android Data Safety
A plain-language summary to support the Google Play Data safety declaration. The Play Console form must match the production app and providers exactly.
Data collected
Account identifiers and profile details; user-entered school/student/teaching records; generated content; optional uploaded photos, files or voice; purchase identifiers; support requests; app interactions, diagnostics and security logs.
Data shared
Only with service providers needed to deliver the requested function, such as hosting/database, AI processing, payment and email providers. Gurubotto does not sell personal or student data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is authenticated and school/role boundaries are enforced by server checks and database Row Level Security. Android backup is disabled for the shell.
Permissions
The Android package declares no dangerous camera, microphone, contacts, location or broad-storage permission. Optional web features use the browser's per-site permission and device picker.
Ads and tracking
The current app does not display third-party advertising and does not include an advertising ID permission.
Deletion
Users can request deletion both inside the app and on the public web. Shared school ownership and records with legitimate retention requirements are reviewed before completion.
